    Celebrate fall with our family-friendly Halloween weekend! Our West Michigan campground will feature:

    • Prizes and more!

  • Movie Nights at the Pavillion

    Tuesday, Thursday & Saturday nights all summer long

    Gather your family and friends, bring some blankets, and join us at the pavilion for outdoor movie nights under the stars.
    Enjoy movies on our 10×10-foot screen with stereo surround sound!

    You can even suggest movies for the lineup by commenting on our Facebook page – we love hearing your ideas!

    July 4th at 11am at the Campground – Kids Bicycle Parade

    July 4th

    Celebrate Independence Day with our annual kids’ bike parade! Decorate your bikes and wagons in red, white, and blue, and show your patriotic spirit as you parade through the campground.

    It’s a highlight of the 4th of July festivities!

  • Silver Lake Sand Dunes Jeep Invasion

    May 29th- June 1st

    Thousands of Jeeps take over the dunes during this exciting extended weekend! Events include:

    • Trail rides
    • Raffles
    • Food vendors
    • Music
    • Off-road obstacle course
    • And more!

    4th of July Activities

    The 4th of July is a big deal both at our dunes campground and around the Silver Lake area. It’s by far our most popular summer weekend, so if you’re visiting our RV resort over the 4th, expect a ton of things to do for the whole family. Fortunately, our campground in West Michigan is perfectly situated near all the action!

    July 2nd: Hart Sparks

    7pm – 9:30pm

    Hart Commons: Corner of State and E. Main St., Hart

    Kick off the holiday weekend with “Hart Sparks”! This firework show and entertainment event attracts roughly 4,000 people annually and keeps growing bigger each year.

    Activities include live music from the Blue Rooster Band & the Rocket Fuel Haulers, a 25-foot rock climbing wall, inflatable water slide, free painting station, cornhole tournament, food vendors, and more! The night of fun ends with fireworks over Hart Lake.

    July 3rd – Pentwater Fireworks

    Charles Mears State Park Dusk Fireworks overlooking Lake Michigan will be held in Pentwater, just a 20-minute drive north from our campground near Lake Michigan.

    Pentwater is a small town with a lot of charm and features great places to shop and eat. Fireworks on the 3rd will be held at dusk.

    Silver Lake Sand Dunes

    Seeing the sparks and colors reflect over the dunes and Silver Lake will give you a firework display like you’ve never seen before. If you can only make it to one firework show this year, let it be this one!

    There are so many ways to enjoy: Rent a boat on Silver Lake, bring a blanket and walk up the dunes, or simply catch the view lakeside.

  • Apple & BBQ Cook-Off Festival

    September 5th & 6th

    Silver Lake is one of the most popular summer destinations for Michigan camping, but the fun events continue well into the fall too! Fortunately, we’re one of the best fall campgrounds in Silver Lake as well!

    Come visit after Labor Day weekend is over for one of our most famous autumn events: The Apple & BBQ Festival. Your mouth will already be watering as you walk up to the amazing selection of BBQ foods available at this festival. And when you’ve had your fill of barbecue, there are a number of other fun-filled events to enjoy as well:

    • Farm Fresh Apples and Craft Show
    • Classic auto & truck show
    • Dune buggy show
    • Apple pie contest
    • Beer tent
    • Apple-a-Day 5K run/walk
    • Kids activities
