Criminal History

Silver Lake Resort & Campground is open to families and children of all ages, and the safety and well-being of our guests is of the upmost importance. Although we will take precautions to enhance the safety of our guests, we cannot guarantee complete freedom from all risks, including those associated with individuals who have a history of criminal, violent, or sex offenses. Any person who is alleged to have engaged in any violent or threatening behavior or any inappropriate sexual or sexual harassing conduct toward others will be immediately reported to law enforcement and may be removed while the allegations are investigated and permanently thereafter. Silver Lake Resort & Campground may exclude and/or deny entry to any person based on a determination that their continued presence is not in the best interests of the Campground or its guests.

In order to ensure the safety and well-being of our guests, particularly children, the following section must be completed truthfully and accurately by all applicants, and we reserve the right to request additional information, including, without limit, a request to conduct a background check, based on the answers and information provided. The information provided by applicants with respect to criminal history and background will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Silver Lake Resort & Campground expressly reserves the right to deny any application from and entry to individuals whose specific criminal history may present a risk to the safety and well-being of our guests and/or their property, regardless of whether they have a reservation, are on a seasonal waitlist, or have already paid any amounts or deposits, with any paid amounts refunded.

Silver Lake Resort & Campground may refuse to rent to the undersigned applicant(s) if any of the information provided herein is found to be untrue, inaccurate, incomplete, or misleading in any respect, and may terminate the undersigned’s rental agreement and occupation of any lot within the Campground if information provided herein is found to be untrue, inaccurate, incomplete, or misleading after renting to the undersigned applicant.

Camping Unit Information

Applicant Certification & Authorization

The undersigned Applicant(s) hereby certifies and affirms that all responses and information provided on this Application (and accompanying statements, if any) are true, correct, and complete in all respects and hereby authorizes management to verify the above information and responses, which may include, without limitation, contacting references provided and reviewing publicly available databases and registries. The undersigned also agrees that any false, misleading, incomplete, or inaccurate information, misrepresentations, or omissions—oral or written—may disqualify the undersigned from becoming a guest and/or renter at Silver Lake Resort & Campground, will be considered a breach and default of the Seasonal Camper Lease Agreement, and may result in termination of such Agreement and removal from the Campground.

The undersigned further certifies that he/she/they has read the conditions contained at the bottom of this Application, understands them, and that the undersigned voluntarily submits this Application. This Application is subject to the review and approval of Silver Lake Resort & Campground. Completion of this Application does not guarantee rental or the right or ability to rent any lot at the Campground, and Silver Lake Resort & Campground expressly reserves the right to deny approval of this Application for any reason.

The undersigned makes an application to rent a seasonal Campsite at Silver Lake Resort & Campground 1786 N. 34th Avenue, Silver Lake, MI. The rental period is from April 15th to October 15th. Occupancy of the lot is from April 15th to October 15th. The seasonal campground will be closed from October 15th until April 15th.

The undersigned, upon approval of this Application agrees to sign a rental or lease and to pay all sums due.
